New to TBC?

At Tharptown we have one desire and that is that everyone comes to know Jesus Christ. As you search the website you will find that our vision here is to teach people how to follow Jesus. We do that in two ways; through our weekly worship service and through our weekly bible study groups. Our worship services are friendly, welcoming, and all the focus is on Jesus. In our Bible study groups we want to see people connect and grow—to connect with each other and connect with God. It is our desire to see people grow in their relationship with the Lord and invite others to come along. We invite you to come and worship with us at Tharptown Baptist Church.

What should I wear?

You’re invited to come wearing what you feel most comfortable in. Our members tend to dress business casual for Sunday morning services though you won’t be alone if you decide to dress more casual. Our Sunday night and Wednesday night services are very casual.

Worship Service

Our worship services are friendly, welcoming, and all the focus is on Jesus. Services typically last about an hour.

Nursery

A nursery is provided at each of our services for children up to 3 years old. Caring for your child in a safe and caring environment is our first priority.
