Praise Band

The praise band plays during the Sunday night services. This service includes more contemporary praise music along with traditional hymns.

Children’s Choir

Two children’s choirs include children ages four through first grade and second grade through sixth grade. Practice is on Wednesday night.

Soloist

Soloists are born-again, baptized church members who attend all weekly services and attend a small group Bible study (Sunday School) weekly. Soloists sing during worship services at Tharptown Baptist Church on a scheduled basis.
