The Worship Choir, comprised of college students through senior adults, is a non-auditioned, yet highly motivated team. The main focus of our ministry is the exciting opportunity of leading in our weekly worship services. In addition to singing at Tharptown Baptist Church, the choir also ministers at church conferences, revivals, and at various community events. Rehearsal is Wednesday at 6:00PM.

The praise band plays during the Sunday night services. This service includes more contemporary praise music along with traditional hymns. The praise band practices on Sunday nights at 5:30.
Two children's choirs include children ages four through first grade and second grade through sixth grade. Practice is on Wednesday night.
Soloists are chosen from the Adult Choir, Youth Choir, and Children's Choir. Soloists are born-again, baptized church members who attend all weekly services and attend a small group Bible study (Sunday School) weekly. Soloists sing during worship services at Tharptown Baptist Church on a scheduled basis and with the choir. See Bro. Jamie Kiel for a "Soloist Guideline" sheet if you are interested in being a soloist.
